It was a pleasure to be able to speak at the ITECA 2023 Conference, and to share my insights into how we can make skills the central currency in our national education and training strategy. It was fantastic to be able to extend on the excellent presentations from Troy Williams and Peter Dawkins on the skills reforms nationally. By adopting these systems and standards, Australia could have greater insight into what our economy and industry needs. Providing an interoperable and versatile system where both education providers and industry are speaking a common language. As an economy we can provide a system that is nimble yet immutable in its application.
